Project Overview
SkyClin is a pioneering platform connecting certified medical professionals with partner airlines to respond to in-flight medical emergencies. With a clear mission and early UI designs in hand, SkyClin partnered with us to accelerate development—enhancing the design, building the full front-end and back-end architecture, and crafting a robust admin interface to support airline operations. With partial UI designs and a rough roadmap in place, we enhanced the UX, built the front and back ends from scratch, designed a custom admin experience, and launched the entire system—58% faster than standard dev cycles.
The Challenge
The project required close coordination and fast iteration. While SkyClin had a product roadmap and preliminary user-facing designs, the admin panel needed to be conceptualized from scratch. At the same time, both the front-end and back-end had to be developed in parallel, with ongoing UI refinements and regular feedback loops. Delivery was organized around strict milestone-based deadlines driven by internal operational needs.
From Uncertainty to Vision
The team came to us with a clear goal but an incomplete picture. With no admin experience designed and only partial user flows, they leaned on us to help define how the platform should actually work. We stepped in early, proposed and built the full admin structure, helped shape the product’s internal logic, and delivered a design that became the foundation for their broader experience.
What We Built
Enhanced Front-End Implementation: Worked from SkyClin’s initial designs to build user and doctor-facing interfaces, applying UI/UX improvements throughout development.
Back-End Architecture: Set up the complete Laravel backend to support secure user sessions, medical consultation flows, and operational scalability.
Custom Admin Panel: Designed and delivered the admin experience without prior references—our UI proposal became the standard for managing doctors, flights, and medical events.
Live Collaboration Loop: Maintained a shared change-tracking sheet to log enhancements and allow SkyClin to suggest adjustments in real time.
Milestone-Driven Rollout: Aligned closely with SkyClin’s internal schedule to release key platform components incrementally across 8 weeks.
